In the spirit of volunteerism, the Special Education Center of the Department of Education will launch the BRIGADA ESKWELA on May 30, 2018, Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. onwards, Angeles Elementary School, Pulungbulu, Angeles City. The annual program aims to bring together civic-spirited stakeholders and individuals, associations, NGOs, government offices and AFP to participate and contribute their time, effort and resources in the sc...hool repair and other maintenance work in preparation for the opening of the school year in June. Among the support activities which one may volunteer to be involved in are as follows: classroom repainting, donation of trash bins, first-aid / health and hygienic kits and bags, school supplies, awareness / literacy campaign on how to handle children with special needs, medical and dental services, among other activities.
